Underverse

[Twin-stick Shooter]

Underverse is a top-down shooter where the player has the ability to switch between two very different areas of play. When enemies die, they are sent to the underverse - the player can then switch to the underverse and kill them again to recover health.

I worked with one other Junior designer to develop Underverse in DigiPen's Zero Engine; using the Python scripting language, in just 23 days!

Role: Game Designer

  • Assembled teammate-authored script components to design, create, and iterate all gameplay mechanics
  • Remixed and integrated pre-existing audio assets to create game soundscape
  • Composed and implemented many visual elements: 3D models, materials, UI elements, and graphic design
